Our state of the art technology was chosen to be part of an immersive, real-life charging experience for the launch of Audi’s e-tron GT in Spain.
Beautiful aesthetics, high performance and practicality have always been essential for us on our mission to produce the smartest EV chargers. We were proud, therefore, to supply our Commander 2 to complement Audi’s striking brand new e-tron GT.
Commander 2 was designed to make your charger more interactive by placing all the controls at your fingertips. Combined with the myWallbox platform, it offers a full range of functions to control your charger status, users, energy consumption and much more.
The launch
Set in a spectacular mansion in the heart of Barcelona, we joined Audi for a four day takeover focusing on their distinct take on electric cars. Villa Mayfair, with its modernist architecture, spacious grounds and swimming pool, provided a unique setting to look back at Audi’s EV and hybrid history, while the launch gave guests an insight into the manufacturer’s plans to go completely carbon neutral by 2050.
The highlight was undoubtedly the ‘showroom’. Two brand new e-tron GT’s were parked up, allowing everyone in attendance to take a closer look at the cars both inside and out.
Connected to our Commander 2 chargers, it was here where guests had the unique opportunity of getting to grips with the smart charging experience first-hand.
