I hope this message finds you and your families safe and healthy. As 2020 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for all your continued partnership and trust during what has been one of the most challenging years most of us have experienced in our lifetimes. I also want to reflect on what we have achieved together, as a way to kindle our optimism and renew our energies as we head into a new year.
We have all been touched in some way by the pandemic, either personally or in business. And as with every crisis, opportunities also emerged from it. In the EV sector, the pandemic brought about a breakthrough towards accelerating the adoption of EVs and of intelligent charging solutions.
The growth we experienced this year came with an unusual set of challenges that required immediate responses and lots of changes. Thank you for your support while we adapted our operations, and for your understanding when things didn’t go as planned. I want to assure you that your feedback is taken to heart at Wallbox, and we are working diligently on expanding our team, upgrading our systems, and improving our operational processes in response to it.
I am proud to look back and see that, despite the trying circumstances, we did more than just navigate the storm. We were also able to grow our presence in existing markets, expand into new ones, launch new products, and have our technology and design recognized worldwide for its innovation. We couldn’t have achieved these milestones without having the best partners in the industry by our side.
This holiday season, just like with everything we did in 2020, we will adapt and do things differently. Instead of hosting a holiday party, we have chosen to recognize and support the work of one of the many organizations all over the world that have been caring for the vulnerable people in our communities when they needed them the most.
I am happy to share that Wallbox has made a donation on behalf of our team and partners to the Red Cross in Barcelona, providing them with a new electric van and a Commander 2. We chose the Red Cross because of the outstanding work they have done in communities all over the world. In our region alone they have spent nearly 200,000 hours volunteering, and directly impacted more than 1,167,000 people since the start of the pandemic. We hope the EV, which will be used as an emergency response vehicle, can help the volunteers reach even more people.

We continue to believe in a greener future, and we’re doing our part to make it a reality by creating smarter, simpler charging, and energy management solutions for everyone.
