What happened at Fully Charged LIVE 2022

6 minutes

Fully Charged LIVE markets itself as the world’s no.1 clean energy and electric vehicle show, and 2022’s edition was no exception. This year’s UK edition, again held in Farnborough over 3 days from 29th April to 1st May, was the first event that Fully Charged put together for 2022, with expansion shows across the world confirmed in future: think Amsterdam, San Diego, Sydney, Vancouver, and in Yorkshire, Harrogate.

It was only natural for us to be there. We wanted to join the cause to help educate, encourage and explain to people the importance, benefits and need for a world with clean energy.

So, we were there. During the Bank Holiday weekend, we were able to show more than 23,000 visitors our energy management solutions and our range of electric vehicle chargers. And we had one surprise with us… the launch of our brand new charger: Pulsar Max.

We had a 60 square meter booth, allowing us to demonstrate how our products worked, while giving visitors a chance to see what our EV chargers actually looked like. Overall, guests were able to discover a mix of our home and commercial solutions:

What’s more? We had the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with three of our partners in the UK: Replenishh, Octopus Energy and Scottish Power. It was a valuable experience being amongst partners and consumers alike.

The official debut of Pulsar Max

Before we officially launched Pulsar Max in the UK (that was more recently on 23rd May), we gave it a test run at Fully Charged.

The next generation in our best-selling Pulsar family, Pulsar Max is all about making home charging for your EV as easy as possible.

Available in all-new colours for the first time, with a compact design, tougher than ever, and up to 22kW of power, this charger offers maximum charging speeds and allows users to control energy use from their phones. This is EV charging made easy, on top of a simpler installation process than ever before.

With voice control, a tethered cable for instant plug-and-go charging, and the much-awaited Halo Dimming feature, Pulsar Max is also compatible with Eco-Smart: our smart system connecting solar energy to your EV.

New regulations in the UK

At the end of June 2022, changes to smart charging regulations will come into force in the United Kingdom. With them, all new private electric vehicle charging points (at home and in the workplace) sold and installed in Great Britain will have to comply with these regulations.

And what an event it was. Our team had a blast in Farnborough, and we’re already counting down the days to next year’s event. See you there?
