🔌 EV Charging Incentives
- The Portuguese government is developing a public EV charging network with national coverage to enable electric vehicle users to drive throughout the country without range anxiety. Together with private investment, 2000 charging points are expected to be fully operational throughout 2021 and 20.000 are expected to be installed by 2025.
Save money with EV incentives in Portugal
Portugal has implemented a wide range of tax benefits and grants to incentivize EV ownership to make it more attractive to buyers. It is also investing in EV charging infrastructure in an effort to make EV ownership more practical. It also seems that private operators are going to play a major role in developing the charging network.
