This collaboration means E.ON Next is expanding its EV charger range, empowering EV owners to seamlessly buy their Wallbox chargers with the E.ON Next Drive tariff and gain access to 24/7 support, and continue to contribute to reducing the carbon impact of transportation across the UK. E.ON Next currently supplies energy to about 5.5 million customers across the UK.

The partnership pairs Wallbox’s hardware with E.ON Next’s modern energy tariff, allowing Wallbox customers to effortlessly access the E.ON Next Drive tariff when buying their Pulsar Max, a smart home charger meticulously designed to optimise both time and financial savings for EV drivers. By embracing E.ON Next, the average EV driver stands to save up to an impressive £4001 annually when switching to the E.ON Next Drive tariff. The tariff also comes with 100% renewable electricity at no extra cost, fixed energy prices for one year, and no exit fees. This tariff offers customers a lower price for electricity when charging their vehicle at night 1. The user-friendly app allows drivers to set charging times and battery charge levels, optimising the process for efficiency. The E.ON Next Drive tariff not only provides low rates for smart charging but extends savings to home energy usage as well1.

E.ON Next customers could also benefit from a £50 discount off the Wallbox Pulsar Max. The E.ON Next Drive tariff provides lower-priced electricity at 9.5p per kWh when charging between 12 and 7 am, fixed prices for a year with no exit fees, and 100% renewable electricity. This collaboration marks a new era in EV charging, changing the way we power our vehicles and contribute to a more energy-efficient future. Eco-conscious drivers are now more empowered than ever to reduce their carbon footprint while enjoying substantial cost savings, courtesy of the partnership between Wallbox and E.ON Next.

Tariff saving calculations: Assume an electric vehicle driving 8,000 miles a year at 3.33 miles per kilowatt, charging at 9.5 pence/kWh during off-peak Next Drive tariff hours compared to charging at 27.3 pence/kWh Next Flex standard variable tariff rate which is equivalent to £428 saved. T&Cs apply.

2. Voice activation/control and scheduled charging: Could be achieved using the Wallbox App. The Wallbox App is available through the Apple or Android store. iOS requires iOS 15.0 or later, and Android requires Android 8 or later. Geographic and eligibility restrictions apply.

3. Electricity backed by 100% renewable sources: E.ON Next’s renewable generation assets, agreements with UK generators and the purchase of renewable electricity certificates. The electricity supplied to your home comes from the National Grid. Fixed-term contracts only. Smart meter required, where eligible. Exit fees and T&Cs apply.
